## What Brightline offers through our in-person and online appointments

Care for every child starts with a diagnostic evaluation. It includes structured, in-depth conversations with both parent and child, and a follow-up session where we'll share evaluation results and a recommendation for next steps.

The goal? That you come away holding a care plan you helped create, knowing we truly understand what your child needs. From there, Brightline will recommend one of these paths:

### Psychological Testing

- Autism
- Learning differences
- Giftedness and school readiness
- Memory and cognitive skills

- [Psychological testing →](/care/psychological-testing/)

### General Therapy

## Why we chose Columbus Circle

- Designed by Frederick Law Olmsted as part of his overall Central Park vision, Columbus Circle is nestled in the southwest corner of the park at Merchant’s Gate. In the early 20th Century, New Yorkers would hope to be heard as they stood on their soapboxes here. Hollywood directors and location scouts locked in on the location decades ago — and there have been memorable scenes in multiple blockbusters filmed here since the 1990’s.
- Yes, “The Circle” (as it was originally known) surrounds the Christopher Columbus monument at its center. But Columbus Circle is more than just a ring around a National Register of Historic Places statue.
- It’s also the name referred to when mentioning the surrounding neighborhoods including Hell’s Kitchen, the Theater District, and Lincoln Square on the Upper West Side. A central hub of transportation and traffic, it also represents some of the vibrant hustle and bustle that can be found across the great state of New York.
- We’re proud to have opened our third New York clinic here, and to be part of this energetic, iconic community. It’s an honor to be a mental health resource for kids, teens, and families who live, work, and play in and around Columbus Circle. It’s why we’re here. And it’s where you belong.
