(she/her)

I truly love all my Brightline families and I value working as a team to help children be their best selves!

About Ephat Russcol, MD

Ephat Russcol, MD, is a Brightline pediatrician who provides online behavioral health care across 5 states (CT, FL, MA, NJ, NY). She has been a part of the Brightline team since May 2021 and is truly proud of all of the families Brightline has helped.

Dr. Russcol specializes in the diagnosis and medical management of developmental, psychological, and behavioral challenges. Dr. Russcol enjoys caring for patients with ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorders, and learning disabilities, among other neurological and psychological disorders. She loves partnering with families to help kids identify their unique strengths and realize their potential.

Dr. Russcol always knew she wanted to work with children. In medical school, she loved general pediatrics, adolescent medicine, and psychiatry and ended up training in general pediatrics. As a general pediatrician, she saw the great need for better behavioral and developmental care and made the switch to focus on behavioral and developmental concerns in 2019 so that she could devote the time it takes to help children and families thrive.

What is a developmental pediatrician?

Our developmental pediatricians are independently licensed medical doctors (they have completed four years of medical school, 3-4 years of residency, and often 1-3 years of sub-specialty training). They are qualified to do diagnostic evaluations and provide medication management. Developmental pediatricians do not hold ongoing therapy sessions, but they often incorporate brief psychotherapeutic skills into their care and are able to directly refer families who need that service to a Brightline therapist or psychologist.
