What Brightline offers through our in-person and online appointments

Care for every child starts with a diagnostic evaluation. It includes structured, in-depth conversations with both parent and child, and a follow-up session where we'll share evaluation results and a recommendation for next steps.

The goal? That you come away holding a care plan you helped create, knowing we truly understand what your child needs. From there, Brightline will recommend one of these paths:

Why we chose Brooklyn Heights

  • In 1807, there were just seven homes in Brooklyn Heights. Less than a century later, nearly the entire area was developed. The buildings dynamically changed as the area was built out from north to south over the years, and today the area encompasses a wide variety of architectural styles, including Federal, Victorian Gothic, and Classic Revival.

  • From Plymouth Church of the Pilgrims where pastor Henry Ward Beecher centered his part in the Abolitionist movement, to 215 Montague Street where the infamous Jackie Robinson is believed to have signed his major league contract with the Brooklyn Dodgers, Brooklyn Heights holds a rich and impactful history.

  • Today, this diverse, prosperous community — the first to be protected by the Landmarks Preservation Law of New York City in 1965 — represents both the past and the future. With one of the largest concentrations of pre-Civil War houses, and many of its streets named for prominent historical figures, Brooklyn Heights is also home to thriving businesses, schools, libraries, parks, and families.

  • We are thrilled that our very first Brightline clinic opened in Brooklyn Heights, and that it gives us an opportunity to serve the various mental health needs of the kids, teens, and parents who live here. It’s why we’re here. And it’s where you belong.
