Cancellation window
We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This helps us keep appointments open for other families who need them.

Timing
More than 24 hours before your appointment: reschedule directly, no fee
Less than 24 hours before your appointment: a late cancellation fee may apply
No-shows: a fee may also apply
Fees vary by appointment type
Diagnostic evaluation or feedback session: $190
Psychological testing: $130
Other appointments: $70
Some plans, including 1199 SEIU, are exempt from these fees.

Running late?
For online appointments, you have a 10 minute grace period. If you haven't joined by then, we'll try to reach you. If you're more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
If you’re having trouble logging in or technical issues, you can reach out to member support immediately for help.
How to reschedule

More than 24 hours out: reschedule directly through your Brightline account
Within 24 hours: contact Member Support as soon as possible so we can help you find a new time
Want an earlier appointment? Ask to be added to our cancellation list. If an earlier slot opens up, we'll reach out, first come, first served.
A note on missed appointments

Consistent care works best when appointments happen as scheduled, especially during your child's diagnostic evaluation. If appointments are missed repeatedly, we may need to pause scheduling until you reconnect with your care team or Member Support to get back on track.
We're here to help: If your plans change, reach out. Our team can help with cancellations, rescheduling, and any questions about fees, by chat, phone, or email.
