Child therapy in New Rochelle for anxiety, ADHD, autism, and more
Parenting is full of moments where you're not quite sure what you're seeing. Is this a phase? Is it more than that? Is it time to talk to someone? Those questions are hard to sit with — and the longer they go unanswered, the heavier they get.
Brightline's New Rochelle clinic is here to help you find clarity. Our therapists work with kids and teens across Westchester to understand what's really going on and build practical skills that stick. Parents are part of the process from day one, because the work that happens at home is just as important as the work that happens in session.
Could my child benefit from therapy?
You don't need a diagnosis or a crisis to reach out. Most families come to us somewhere in between — something feels off, and they want to understand it better. That's exactly the right time to call.
Some signs it may be worth exploring support:
Anxiety or worry that's getting in the way of everyday life
Outbursts, meltdowns, or emotional shutdowns that are becoming more frequent
A noticeable shift in mood, energy, or personality
Difficulty with focus, organization, or keeping up at school
Social struggles or withdrawal from friends and activities
School avoidance or a growing dread around the school day
A quiet sense that something has changed, even if you can't put your finger on it
Trust that instinct. We'll help you figure out what it means and what to do next.
Why New Rochelle families choose Brightline
Brightline's New Rochelle clinic sits in the middle of downtown, at 140 Huguenot Street — steps from New Roc City, walkable from the Metro-North station, and easy to reach from I-95. Paid parking is available right next door in the New Roc Center garage, so getting here is one less thing to navigate.
What brings families to Brightline isn't just the convenience. It's the fact that Brightline now has two clinics in Westchester County — New Rochelle and White Plains — which means more availability, more flexibility, and a care team that knows this community.

Alba Reyes, LCSW, LICSW

“I am passionate about helping children and families thrive in life and mental wellness. Because kids don't always have the words for their struggles, I am dedicated to making them feel seen and heard. Let's normalize big emotions, listen without judgment, and ensure no child faces their mental health journey alone."
Stephanie Pichardo, LMHC
"What drives me is helping young people and families recognize that meaningful change can happen through practical, achievable steps. I enjoy creating a space where young people and their families feel heard, respected, and actively involved in the treatment process.”
