The mental health field has always excited me. It's an honor to witness the growth, individual and collective, that happens when we work together to navigate life's complexities."

About Kenisha Moore, LCSW

Kenisha Moore is a licensed clinical social worker who provides online diagnostic evaluation services at Brightline. Her clinical background spans community mental health, residential care, crisis management, private practice, and partial hospitalization programs, giving her a broad foundation for understanding what kids, teens, and families are navigating when they first come to Brightline.

Kenisha works with young people and families experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, PTSD, and a range of other presenting concerns. She is trained in DBT and cognitive processing therapy, and draws from CBT, solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy to meet each client where they are.

What is a therapist?

Brightline therapists have earned their master’s degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or counseling. They are independently licensed. They are qualified to do therapy and diagnostic evaluations (when they have their diagnostic privilege credential for some license types). Therapists do not prescribe medication, but they are able to directly refer families who need that service to a Brightline psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner.
