About Jack Reibstein, LMSW

Jack Reibstein is an associate therapist at Brightline’s Columbus Circle location, providing care under the supervision of Brittany Armstrong, LCSW. His approach to care is rooted in helping kids and teens understand and process the challenges and losses they have experienced. He also helps families access resources (both internal and in the community) and lead lives they can be proud of.

Jack draws from several different modalities of care including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, internal family systems, and more.

Jack’s experience facilitating child and teen grief groups has shown him how important the connections made in a group setting are, and his inpatient experience has given him experience working with a variety of mental health challenges.

Jack is inspired by the boundless capacity kids and teens have for imagination, creativity, growth, and change.

“I am passionate about helping children and families thrive in life and mental wellness. Because kids don't always have the words for their struggles, I am dedicated to making them feel seen and heard. Let's normalize big emotions, listen without judgment, and ensure no child faces their mental health journey alone."

Christina Sampson, MSW, LCSW

“Behaviors labeled as 'bad' or 'challenging' are usually a child's body doing its best to stay safe based on past experiences. As a therapist, I'm passionate about using trauma-informed guidance to help children and their families move out of survival mode and build healthier, more resilient lives.”

What is an associate therapist?

Associate therapists have earned their master’s degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or counseling. They have a limited license to practice under supervision, and are completing their supervised hours at Brightline to work toward their independent licensure. That means that all of the work they do with your family will be supervised by one of Brightline’s licensed providers. Their supervising provider will review all session notes, care plans, conversations, and recommendations to ensure the approach to your child’s treatment is aligned with our standards of providing high-quality, safe, and ethical care. Supervising provider names can be found on each associate therapist provider page on our website; the associate therapist will also share who their supervisor is at the start of care.
